We live, we can hopefully get the shields back up, and with some care we should be able to prevent a repeat of yesterday.

I have the ability to grant rerolls. Please use this thread to request them.

It was mentioned that we might try moving to point blank with the Khan. If we do, I can board her and (probably, I'd have to check with The Ender) go wookie on two people's asses. If the Khan ends up dying this might not go so well though, but it might be worth the risk.

(I can board and attack two people with my double actions. Tomorrow I would be able to attack four =) )


As for our situation, we appear to have taken the sympathizers by surprise. Since they didn't seem to expect our dodging the first shot, I'm willing to accept that there are no spies onboard, or at least that they have no contact with the Khan.

Yeah, I used my ability to move us to point blank, and to draw all fire from the Khan onto us to help keep our other ships alive. I rolled a 22 total which would work, so if anyone else needs the reroll they can take it.

Got confirmation that I can indeed attack other players. If this works it will be so worth it

Just be careful; if the Khan gets destroyed while you're on it then you'll be eating vacuum and we'll be in deep shit.

If the Khan gets destroyed I think we've won. Certainly I don't think the loss of one redundant player will hurt that much.

If we're point blank should I even bother firing on the Khan? It's not much damage

If we are comfortable that the shields are back up, I can enhance the weapons so they'll do more damage.

Otherwise, you should probably coordinate with the other tactical officers to see if we should help finish off the Lab or maybe fire a med/long range shot at the Mamm to get things started.

Hmm. Yeah, Bremen if you're gonna board them and fuck them up, then you should tell the other ships so that they don't blow it up while you're on it (PMs maybe); you're super valuable to us.

Keep fire on the Lab; we want to bring down each target as quickly as possible.

I've sent some PMs out. Since I don't know who the sympathizers might be I've tried to imply we're pulling a double blind; make the Khan think we're not firing on them so they go on the offensive, while a few carefully cleared tactical officers fire on them despite the thread consensus not being attacking.

Hopefully the info gets passed on to the Khan and they go full defensive.

I can boost the weapons damage and shields by 1d8. Or I can give anyone a reroll. I could also guarantee the helmsman's action is an automatic success.

It sounds like the first is the best choice, anyone disagree?

Boy, I would think a 22 was security enough, but done. We will be moving to point blank range, providing nobody's power blocks mine.

Do we know how much of the shields were restored? If its a low number, I'll boost them, otherwise I'll boost weapons to give our little guns some oomph.
